Underground Mine Engineering

    Underground Mining deign is one of the predominant specialties of our institute, which is awarded underground mine design Grade A qualification by the state, It mainly engages in overall planning of mine areas and design of underground mining engineering. Meanwhile, we also perform the study for the development and utilization of coal seam gas, predicition of ground subsidence, ground support of soft rock, design of support in freeze sinking, underground mine safety technology, construction organization design and mining software development.

Up to now, we have completed more than 40 items of overall planning of mine areas, with more than 400 underground mines designed. And we have also compiled and participated in compilation about 10 national rules and codes. The representative projects include: the first self-designed underground mine in China -Jinxin Xiaohengshan Mine; the first 1000m-depth vertical shaft of Beipiao Taiji Mine; Santaizi Undergound Mine No.1 of Tiefa which created the  record of mine construction in the shortest time in China, which created the brilliant history of a number of new and old mine areas such as Jixi,Hegang, Fushun,Fuxin,Tiefa. Currently, our institute has completed a number of morden and large-scale underground mines with high production such as Santaizi Undergroun Mine(8.0Mt/a),Shanxi Tongxin Underground Mine(10.0Mt/a) and Buliangou Underground Mine(10.0Mt/a) in Inner Mongolia.

Recently, we have developed and expanded the international markets and achieved the following Projects: the preliminary design of Lakhra Coal Mine(0.75Mt/a) in Pakistan, the feasibility studies of Anets(1,2Mt/a) and Omerler (1.2Mt/a) coal mines in Turkey, the feasibility study of Gneer Mine(0.9Mt/a) in Kyrgyzatan and Canada Murray River Underground Mine Feasibility  Study.
